PRESERVING UNIQUE ISLAND HISTORY

 The Cedar Key Historical Society (CKHS) Museum– founded as a non-profit educational facility in 1977 – houses a rich archival collection of thousands of photographs, maps, personal letters, historic newspapers, and other materials which chronicles the uniqueness of Cedar Key's Historic and Archaeological District.   


 Open to the public, the Museum complex is composed of the local renowned Lutterloh Building & The Andrews House; located on the corner of 2nd Street and D Street (Hwy 24). VISIT THE MUSEUM WEBSITE

Cedar Key Memory Program

Thanks to a Small Matching Grant awarded by the State Department Division of Historical Resources, we were able to digitize the Cedar Key Historical Society Museum's photo archive as well as provide funding for the creation of this website to share these photos with anyone in the world for free!
